Botanical Martini Glass Design Language Bombay Sapphire brand inspiration: The Botanical Essence and infused flavour of the brand personality are at the heart of the ‘botanical' martini glass design. Emphasising the root of Bombay Sapphire's flavour, the delicate infused flavour of the botanicals, with a shape inspired by the organic form of root systems from where so much of the scent and lightness is derived. In addition when an olive is added to the classic martini it becomes the focal point of the design – forming the seed of the botanical system. . |
Botanical Martini Glass Design Language The glass reflects the sophistication and elegance of a Bombay sapphire occasion, deviating from archetypal martini glass architecture of a filled base and stem. This is achieved by extending the elegance of the stem into the base created by the form of the root system design. Resulting in a vessel that is light and elegant on its feet, yet stable. The glass has a unique silhouette, which will become a conversation point in a Bombay sapphire occasion with its challenging yet functional design.

Botanical Martini Glass Design Translation The translation of the design intent (seen above) into the glass prototypes was created in collaboration with Simon Moore glass, an internationally celebrated glass maker.
